Toys by age
The one thing every buyer knows is how old the child is. Pick a band and every toy on the page carries an age that Toy Gate or the brand published, never a guess.
A toy with no confirmed age still sits in the shop under its category and its brand. It just does not appear on an age page, because putting it there would mean inventing the one fact you are shopping on.
How the bands work
A toy joins the band its recommended age falls into. A set marked three plus sits in 3 to 4, not in every band above it, because a band is a shortcut for a parent rather than a list of everything a child could physically manage. Where the youngest toy in a band is marked above the band floor, the page says so in one line instead of letting you assume otherwise.
