Who you are buying from

This website is run by Toy Gate, a toy shop on Eastern Boulevard, Saida, Lebanon, open 10am to 7pm in winter. Every order on it is sold and delivered by Toy Gate. To reach us, message us on WhatsApp at +961 79 30 81 41 or email toygate.lb@gmail.com.

Where we sell, and countries we cannot sell to

Toy Gate sells and delivers only within Lebanon. We do not deliver to any address outside Lebanon.

We do not accept orders from, or deliver to, any country, region or person subject to comprehensive sanctions, including sanctions of the United States Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), the United Nations and the European Union. This includes, but is not limited to, Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria, Russia, Belarus, and the Crimea, Donetsk and Luhansk regions of Ukraine. In line with Lebanese law, we also do not accept orders from or deliver to Israel.

Our payment provider may refuse or reverse any transaction connected to these countries, regions or persons, and we may cancel any such order.

Prices

Prices are in US dollars. The price you pay is the one the website shows when you place the order, worked out again by the website at that moment, so a later price change does not change an order already placed. Delivery is added as its own line and shown in the total before you confirm.

Placing an order

You place an order by tapping Place order at checkout. You then see a confirmation page with your order reference; keep it for any question about the order. Toy Gate then contacts you on the number you gave to confirm the order and the delivery. Your order is accepted once we confirm it with you.

If a toy turns out to be unavailable, we tell you, remove it from the order and you pay only for the rest, or you may cancel the order. We may also decline or cancel an order, for example if we cannot reach you on the number you gave, if the address is outside Lebanon, or if the order is connected to a country or person listed above. You pay nothing for an order we cancel.

Delivery

$5 flat delivery across Lebanon. We deliver all over Lebanon: Beirut, Mount Lebanon, North Lebanon, Akkar, Bekaa, Baalbek-Hermel, South Lebanon and Nabatieh. Delivery usually takes 2 to 4 days. The fee is one per order and is shown in the total before you confirm. The full details are in our Shipping Policy.

Payment

You pay the courier in cash when the order reaches you: the toys plus delivery, the total shown at checkout. Nothing is charged online.

Changing or cancelling an order

Message us on WhatsApp at +961 79 30 81 41 with your order reference as soon as you can.

Cancelling is free until the order leaves the shop. After that, if you refuse the order at the door for a reason other than a damaged, faulty or wrong toy, you pay the delivery fee.

Returns and refunds

Unused toys in their original sealed packaging can be returned within 7 days of delivery, and a damaged, faulty or wrong toy is replaced or refunded. The full rules are in our Returns and Refund Policy.

Ages and safety

The age shown on a toy is a guide, from its maker or from the shop. Please read the maker’s age and safety warnings on the box before giving a toy to a child, and supervise young children while they play. Product photos are as accurate as we can make them, but colours can look different on a screen.

Using this website

Please use this website only to browse and to place genuine orders. Do not try to break it, reach parts of it that are not meant for you, or place orders in someone else’s name without their agreement. We may refuse orders from anyone who misuses the site.

The words, photos and design of this website belong to Toy Gate or to the makers of the toys, and may not be copied for commercial use without permission.

The website links to services run by others, such as WhatsApp, Instagram, Google Maps and, when card payment is offered, our payment provider. Those services have their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for them.

Our responsibility

If something goes wrong with an order, our responsibility is limited to the amount you paid for it, as far as the law allows. Nothing in these terms takes away any right you have under Lebanese consumer law.

We are not responsible for a delay or failure caused by events outside our control, such as road closures, strikes, power or network failures, war or unrest. If that happens, we contact you, and you may wait or cancel.

Law and disagreements

Lebanon is Toy Gate’s country of domicile, and these terms are governed by the laws of Lebanon.

If something goes wrong, message us on WhatsApp at +961 79 30 81 41 first, with your order reference, and we will try to put it right.

If any part of these terms cannot be applied, the rest still applies. These terms, with the policies they link to, are the whole agreement between you and Toy Gate about your order.

Changes to these terms

When these terms change, the date at the top of this page changes with them. The version on this page when you place an order is the one that applies to it.
